I know….I’m a bad blogger. I have yet to finish my Florida trip reports, and not only that I have a few posts about recent Spring migration to catch up on. Most recently however- I just got back from a week down in south jersey for the WSB. This year I did it officially as captain of the NYSYBC Vagrants in Cape May County. We tallied 130 species in 24 hours just in the county, even though there was a frightening lack of calling night birds and not as many warblers as hoped for.
Either way, It was a fantastic day and I got 2 lifers. The next day too was awesome- My dad, Eamon Corbett, Galen and Jamie Bishop and myself went to Brig after the brunch for another whirlwind day.
Sooo, a few posts will be arriving shortly!
