A hungry feeder visitor

While watching the bustling feeders, we were visited…

A hungry visitor...

I’m pretty sure this is an immature Cooper’s Hawk , after doing measurements and close study. We estimate it is about 16 inches by the space it took up in the tree. We also noted the primary feather length being on the short side, but it was hard to judge the roundness of the tail.  It was also hard to judge the shape of the head because the hackles were raised.  If you disagree, please let me know. This is going to Feederwatch. There was also a partly leucistic Carolina Wren hanging around. You never know what the snow will bring!
